It is an important archaeological area, as evidenced by the numerous finds of Iron Age tombs: there is even talk of a Civilization of Saint Lucia. Of all this there is ample documentation in the small and interesting Archaeological Museum – housed in the former primary school – to visit together with the church of Santa Lucia, the ancient chapel of San Mauro dating back to the 12th century.
