ADRIABIKE

The Adriabike route is part of the European cycle route network Eurovelo 8 and connects Kranjska Gora with Ravenna through the most beautiful places of the Northern Adriatic and the Italian-Slovenian border.  A varied and complete route that combines the beauty of cities of art such as Koper, Trieste, Venice, Padua, Ravenna with the multiform expressions of nature of the Julian Alps, the Karst Plateau, the lagoons and the Po Delta Park. The waterways are the main theme of the days of travel: downhill following the Sava first and then the Isonzo, and finally the dense network of artificial canals that connect the lands of Venice and the branches of the Po Delta. Adriabike is an unforgettable experience also in terms of scents and flavours, in a continuous contamination between the Alps, the plains and the sea.
